Imran Khan gets barred from elections after guilty verdict

Pakistani politician and former cricketer Imran Khan has been jailed for three years and fined PKR 100,000 ($900) after being found guilty of hiding the proceeds from selling state gifts. His conviction means he will be debarred from participating in elections due to be held by November.
