Myanmar cozies up to China with infrastructure overtures

Sources in Delhi told ET that issuing a statement on China coinciding with the Indian foreign secretary's visit is an attempt by the junta to send a message to the international community, particularly the West, that both India and China are courting the regime and that it is not isolated.
