Representatives of two warring Sudanese generals are set to meet in Saudi Arabia to discuss terms of a cease-fire and humanitarian aid into the country. Discussions in Jeddah would not include negotiations over the volatile issues around integration of armed forces that led to the start of fighting on April 15. Since the conflict began, U.S., Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Britain have been coordinating efforts to resolve the fighting in Sudan.
